Jill Moreno found the foal with its back legs broken on a roadside near Cadover Bridge. Jill recognised Nibbles, the pony, and said she knew something was wrong, so pulled over to investigate.
The foal was Nibbles' third in three years that has died. The foal was found a ditch and needed three people to pull her out. Jill believes the only explanation for her injuries was being hit by a car.
