THE names of city MPs Luke Pollard and Johnny Mercer have appeared on a list of UK Parliamentarians targeted by Russia's President Putin in his latest round of retaliatory sanctions over Ukraine.
Mr Pollard tweeted a light-hearted reply: "It looks like the Kremlin have finally got their hands on the huge stockpile of gay flags, glitter and Eurovision albums I had squirrelled away in Moscow. I stand with Ukraine."

PLYMOUTH MP Luke Pollard is among the hundreds of British MPs who have been hit with Russian sanctions in retaliation for the UK's support of Ukraine. The Kremlin has announced a total of 287 parliamentarians are being individually targeted by Russia's foreign ministry.
