Some newly-built roads in Thane need to be reworked for removing the technical errors in them, said the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay Deputy Director Prof KV Krishna Rao on Saturday.
The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has appointed the IIT-B for the technical audit of road works. A team of experts recently inspected the newly-built roads, after which the civic body organised a workshop for all the engineers and contractors involved in the multi-crore project.
