Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma blew away Lucknow Super Giants with their unbeaten opening stand of 167 to power Sunrisers Hyderabad to a convincing 10-wicket victory in their IPL match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, here on Wednesday.
Chasing 166 for victory, Head smashed 89 off 30 balls while Sharma struck 75 off 28 to help Sunrisers reach 167/0 in 9.4 overs.
The win has given a further push to Sunrisers' chances of qualifying for the Playoffs.
Head and Sharma showunparalleled cased their prowess as they dismantled the opposing team's bowling attack, completing the chase in a mere 45 minutes. Their exceptional partnership yielded a staggering 148 runs within the span of just 30 boundary balls, comprising an impressive tally of 16 fours and 14 sixes.
