PM steps on gas to boost railways

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for 6,000 railway projects (including 506 projects in Maharashtra) worth more than Rs85,000 crore via video link from Ahemdabad. He laid the foundation for a petrochemicals complex of Petronet LNG at Dahej and flagged off 10 Vande Bharat trains, extension of 4 Vande Bharat trains and other train services at functions organised simultaneously from over 700 places across the country on Tuesday.

The nation witnessed the inauguration of numerous projects initiated by PM Modi, with lakhs of people connecting to the event from more than 700 different places. Among these, Maharashtra alone saw the commencement of 506 projects. The event was graced by the presence of Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Communication, Electronic & Information Technology, alongside other dignitaries.
