Within a week of the state government issuing an order to hand over 15 hectares of Kanjurmarg land for Swami Samarth Nagar-KanjurmargVikhroli Mumbai Metro 6, the Mumbai Suburban Collector issued a letter of undertaking for the Mumbai MetroAupolitan Region Development thority (MMRDA) to take possession of the controversial land that has become a political talking point.
Sources in MMRDA informed that an order was issued on Monday to pass on the possession of the land from the state government to them.
