Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday assured the countrymen that the government would protect SC, ST and backward class reservations. He hoped the NDA would retain power at the Centre for the third consecutive term.

At a BJP public meeting in Telangana's Komaram Bheem Asifabad Asifabad district, Shah predicted that the BJP will win 100 parliamentary seats in the two LS phases. He claimed the BJP's popularity was growing in the Telugu state and hoped his party will win 10 LS seats here.
