It has been stated in the PIL by Advocate Joshini Tuli that the Delhi Police have revealed "each and every detail" regarding their investigation to the public and the media which is not permitted in law.
PIL IN HIGH COURT SEEKING TRANSFER OF PROBE TO CBI, SAYS DELHI HIGH COURT POLICE LEAKING EVERY MINUTE DETAIL TO MEDIA; SHRADDHA MURDER CASE

The Delhi High Court in the case Joshini Tuli v. State of (NCT) of Delhi & Ors observed in a public interest litigation filled by the lawyer, wherein seeking transfer of probe in the Shraddha Walkar murder case to the Central Bureau of Investigation from the Delhi Police.

Further, the petition added that the presence of public and media at place of recoveries and the hearings of the court amounts to "interference with the evidence and the witnesses.
