After a meeting of his party’s parliamentary board, Paswan said there was unanimity that he will contest from Hajipur while the names of candidates for four other seats will be announced in a few days.

Asked about Paras’s decision to resign from the Union cabinet after the BJP chose to go with the LJP faction headed by Paswan and the possibility that his uncle may seek re-election from Hajipur, the Jamui MP said he is welcome to contest from there.
