Putting up united front, INDIA bloc in meet attended by 23 parties seeks Pradhan’s resignation, flags vote theft, paper leaks, fuel price rise, inflation
The INDIA bloc party leaders on Monday put a show of strength as they highlighted the issue of vote theft, paper leaks, fuel price rise, inflation and demanded resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The meeting that was attended by 23 parties also resolved to hold meeting at every two months, and demanded for an all party meeting to be convened by the government.
The meeting was attended by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, CPP chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal and others. pal, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Mohibbullah Nadvi, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, her nephew Abhishek Banerjee, Derek O’Brien, Kalyan Banerjee, NC leader Omar Abdullah, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, CPI leader D Raja, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav; Sanjay Yadav Supriya Sule from NCP(SP), Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut (all online) from SS(UBT), John Brittas from CPI(M).
