DMK names 9 seats allotted to Congress

The Supreme Court on Monday asked State Bank of India (SBI) to be transparent and impartial in its handling of electoral bonds data, emphasising the need for full disclosure.

Days after allotting nine Lok Sabha seats to the Congress in Tamil Nadu and the only segment in Puducherry, the DMK on Monday named the specific constituencies that the grand old party, a key ally, will contest from Sivaganga, Cuddalore, Krishnagiri, Kanniyakumari, Tiruvallur (Reserved), Mayiladuthurai, Tirunelveli, Karur and Virudhunagar are the nine Lok Sabha seats given by the ruling DMK to the Congress for the upcoming general election.
