African Bank slapped with R700k fine for misleading ad

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) has imposed a R700,000 administrative penalty on African Bank Limited for misleading advertising, the regulator announced yesterday.
This fine is due to African Bank's violation of Conduct Standard 3 of 2020 (Banks), which stipulates that financial institutions prioritise the fair treatment of their customers in their business practices.
