Gold prices have seen their first weekly decline in six weeks, attributed to delayed hopes for interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve and a reduction in geopolitical tensions in West Asia. Investors have retreated from the precious metal, resulting in a drop of over 2 per cent in prices over the previous week.
