'BGT crossbow prank almost gave me a heart attack,' admits Bruno

BRITAIN'S Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli was left "fuming" after an "evil" TV prank saw him tricked into believing he had shot Simon Cowell with a crossbow.

The former Strictly panellist admitted: "I nearly had a heart attack...I was thinking: 'What have I done?'" 

TV favourite Bruno, 67, appeared on the talent show panel for the first time last night alongside Simon, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.

During the daredevil stunt he was handed the lethal bow while blindfolded.

When his mask was removed, devastated Bruno saw Simon lying on the stage floor, having apparently been hit by a bolt.

In an exclusive interview ahead of his debut, the star revealed: "I thought I killed Simon, the paramedics were running on, I was like, 'What have I done?'

"I was actually fuming after that. That was so evil.

"There were thousands of people there....and they were all in on the joke except me."
