A FAMILY ice cream business is toasting record sales - thanks to the mini-heatwave.
Mackie's of Scotland, based in Aberdeenshire, sold 1.5million litres of their products in April.
That smashed the Inverurie firm's previous record from June 2023, which went into the history books as the hottest June on record.
The constant sunshine last month made it the sunniest ever April in the UK and the second sunniest in Scotland.
