THE sunny dry spell may have an extra benefit — a lot fewer of those pesky midges.
The infamous insects are notorious for turning holiday trips into nightmares when the swarms attack anyone daring to show a bit of flesh.
But a midge expert has said the current wave of sunny weather could have a major impact on their numbers.
