A MAGICAL, mythical and medieval free day out is planned for the fourth This Here Festival, which this year will be based in Stubbylee and Moorlands Parks in Bacup.

This Here Festival offers magical and mystical fun

Executive Producer at the Horse and Bamboo Theatre Jenn Camilleri said: "Events will open at 10am on Saturday June 14 and the first thing people will be greeted with is a Reynard the Fox.

"Reynard - a woodland scoundrel - will be performing two shows in Stubbylee Park at 10am and 1pm combining puppetry and original live music on a traditional cart. The outside theatrical piece is suitable for all ages."

Young visitors will also be given a free treasure hunt map and at five locations around the two parks there will be hidden words which lead to a medieval message.

Fun family games include space hoppers and hook a duck, hula hooping and a giant Jenga game.
