Huge victory puts Reform in control

REFORM UK have taken full control of Nottinghamshire County Council in a dramatic election which has seen them achieve one of the biggest majorities on the authority for years.
Nigel Farage's party has 40 councillors on the county council, well over the 34 needed for a party to run the authority on their own.
The vote is set to be the last ever county council election thanks to government plans to shake up councils across the country. The authority's final four years will now be solely governed by Reform and the party says it will choose who should be their leader by the end of the weekend.
