Himachal: Anurag Thakur appeals for the unity amid natural disaster

In the wake of the devastating natural calamity that has struck Himachal Pradesh, causing heavy rainfall, landslides, and cloud bursts resulting in widespread destruction and loss of lives and property, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports, and prominent BJP leader from the state, Anurag Singh Thakur, has issued a heartfelt appeal to all political parties, with a special focus on the ruling Congress, to set aside politics and join forces in providing relief to the affected region.

Amidst the ongoing rescue and relief operations, Thakur urged, “I implore all political parties, and particularly the Congress, to put aside political agendas during this critical juncture and offer unwavering support to the relief efforts.”

Expressing his concern over unwarranted criticism towards the people of Bihar, Thakur emphasized the importance of unity during times of crisis. He remarked, “In times of disaster, our strength lies in our unity. Pointing fingers and making baseless accusations is counterproductive. We must not cast aspersions on the people of Bihar without justification.”
