
A POPULAR burger restaurant is to reopen this week - just a month after it closed its doors.
The Almost Famous venue in the Northern Quarter will be serving again on Friday after it was bought by D2 the firm behind popular Liverpool bar PINS Social Club.
Almost Famous closed its sites in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool last month, with owners citing the 'current economic climate.
However, D2 has now taken over the Northern Quarter and Liverpool sites. They are due to reopen as Almost Famous on Friday and Monday respectively.
The second Manchester site at Great Northern Warehouse and the Almost Famous site in Leeds have not been acquired by PINS Social Club. It is not yet clear about what will happen at these two locations.
