The Reds only scored three goals in their last three games with Ronaldo up front prior to their four-goal win over Villa on Thursday which was achieved without the Portuguese.
“I can’t guarantee that now, but he was ill today, he can recover from that,” United manager Erik ten Hag said of Ronaldo.
