RESIDENTS have raised concerns about deer that appear to be ‘trapped’ on ‘abandoned’ land where trees have recently been cut down.
The site off Clarendon Road in Hyde has been home to the deer for ‘years’. But residents say their home is now being torn down.
It comes after trees on the land near Hyde Park were cut down. Concerned residents have called the RSPCA to ask for their help.
However, they claim the charity said it cannot help and advised calling the police if the deer end up on the road.
Leah Taylor, who is one of the residents who contacted the RSPCA, told the M.E.N. that the situation is ‘completely out of order’.
