Bury council said those living close to PT41 Fitness on Lodge Road in Radcliffe heard loud music booming from the gym from around 6am in the morning, seven days a week.
The gym has now been prosecuted and fined for causing repeated noise nuisance to local residents.
Neighbours affected by the noise collected and filed more than 1,000 recordings of loud music from the gym and they were submitted as evidence to show the level of amplified music coming from the building.
