POLICE INVESTIGATE REPORTS OF SEXTING SCAM
THE Metropolitan Police is investigating reports of a sexting scam involving parliamentary members after a Conservative MP claims he was blackmailed into sharing his colleagues' phone numbers after sharing intimate images of himself.
William Wragg, the MP for Hazel Grove in Stockport, confessed on Thursday that he was "manipulated" into providing the personal contact details of fellow MPs to a man he encountered on a gay dating app.
Speaking to The Times, the MP admitted feeling "scared" as the individual possessed compromising information about him.
