A PASSENGER suffered a 26-hour flight delay only to be trapped on the tarmac at Manchester Airport for another two hours after his flight finally landed.
Andrew Barlow faced a battle to get home after an 11-night holiday on the Greek island of Rhodes with his wife and friends. His Ryanair plane eventually took off, 26 hours after the initial flight time.
Once it finally landed back in Manchester, in the early hours of Sunday, Andrew then claims passengers were left on the tarmac due to a ground staff shortage. He eventually arrived home in Reddish, Stockport, shortly before 6am.
