A THREE-year-old boy has died after police believe he was attacked by a dog.
Paramedics rushed to the scene at Carr Lane, Milnrow, near Rochdale, shortly after 1 pm yesterday, to report the youngster had been injured.
He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and enquiries were ongoing to establish the circumstances.
Greater Manchester Police said a criminal investigation has been launched following the fatal incident.
