A huge emergency services presence descended on Dale Street, close to Piccadilly, at around 6.30pm. The area was busy with commuters using nearby car parks or the station when ambulances and police cars arrived.
Horrified witnesses reported seeing blood on the street as clothing and debris were left in the middle of the road and paramedics were seen 'performing CPR'
Police received reports that two men, aged 20 and 30, had been stabbed and both were rushed to hospital from the scene with serious injuries that police say are 'potentially life-threatening!
