Hospital lift death tragedy family: 'We want answers'

THE family of an engineer killed as he worked on a hospital lift hope an inquest will provide answers about how he came to die.

Dad-of-one Sandy Noble was fatally injured at the Royal Oldham Hospital in 2021.

The 33-year-old, who had been working as an engineer for two years, was pronounced dead at the scene. He had been carrying out repairs. The Health and Safety Executive, paramedics and Greater Manchester Police were called.

Sandy's loved ones, including his partner Carley Holden, 35, and mum Carol Biggins, 56, hope an inquest into his death, scheduled to begin tomorrow, will provide them with answers.
