FA CUP FINAL: CITY 2 UNITED 1
JOE BRAY
Gundo still giving City reasons to keep him

THE reaction from the City players said it all when Ilkay Gundogan found the top corner after 12 seconds against United - pure disbelief.

Blues fans will have few better goal celebrations than the opener at Wembley, and they almost made as much noise when they saw a replay on the big screens a moment later.

Even Pep Guardiola, who plans everything to the minute detail, couldn't have imagined a start like it.

After being pegged back before halftime by United, City came out flying after the break, and Gundogan again found the back of the net with another first-time volley from 20 yards. As he wheeled away to a second jubilant City celebration, it felt like it would be a perfect parting memory.

After all, this could have been Gundogan's final domestic appearance for City.
