Margaret Russell, secretary of CHEADLE ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY, updates us and highlights some pets who are looking for a new home...

Could you foster Phoebe, or provide her forever home?

PHOEBE the elderly black cat who is hyperthyroid, had her dental last week and is recovering really well. She now needs to find a foster home or better still a permanent home, rather than have to go to the cattery.

She is such a lovely cat and we really want to do our very best for her. As she is an elderly cat Cheadle Animal Welfare will take responsibility for her veterinary care at Lime Trees Cat Clinic, Cheadle, so all her new owner will have to do is give her lots of TLC. Phoebe will love that.

Muffin the 9-year-old French Bulldog has had to go back into kennels as she was not going to accept the resident dog. She wanted all the attention so we are back to square one. Muffin needs a home where she is the only pet. She needs gentle daily walks, but not when it’s hot, and someone who will love her to bits. She really is a lovely dog.
