It will be as warm as 21C along the west of the country, but as cool as 16C in the east, according to the latest bulletins.
Today and tomorrow is expected to bring temperatures of 18C while it will be warmer on Saturday with 20C and up to 21C on Sunday.
Met Eireann said: "It is becoming warmer, drier and more settled for the bank holiday weekend as high pressure builds up over the country.
"Bank holiday Monday will be largely dry with good sunny spells.
