THE family of JoJo Dullard said they still "have hope we will bring her home" as they mark the 27th anniversary of her disappearance.
She was just 21 when last seen on November 9, 1995, as she left Moone, Co Kildare, to return to her home to Callan, Co Kilkenny.
JoJo called a friend from a telephone box when it is believed a car stopped to give her a lift.
She had missed the last direct bus from Dublin which would have brought her to Kilkenny so she decided to hitch.
Shortly after, a woman matching JoJo's description was seen leaning in the back door of a dark-coloured Toyota Carinatype car.
Since then nothing has been seen or heard from her leaving her family devastated.
JoJo's sister Kathleen Bergin said they hope "one day" they will be able to finish her journey home to Kilkenny for her.
Writing on Facebook, she said: "Today marks the 27th year since you went missing JoJo.
"On your anniversary I am reminded vividly of that night. It was wet and windy when you were stopped from making your journey home.
