Brilliant pundits like Pat Spillane, Joe Brolly, John Giles, Eamon Dunphy and Brent Pope either left or were forced out of the station because their faces didn’t fit anymore or their opinions were too frank and controversial.

I don’t like it, I don’t get it and some of the people they have brought in are boring and sorry just not up to scratch.
Take Sean Kavanagh, Ciaran Whelan, Damien Duff and Richie Sadlier for instance. I am sure individually they are all nice people but sorry as analysts and commentators they’d put you to sleep.
They don’t say anything controversial. They don’t cross the line. It is all nicey, nicey and it just doesn’t work.
