THE Sinn Fein leader has accused Boris Johnson of “placating” the DUP over devolution and the Protocol.
Mary Lou McDonald described a “fairly tough” meeting with the UK Prime Minister as the impasse over the Executive continues.
Speaking after a meeting with Mr. Johnson at Hillsborough Castle, Ms. McDonald said: “Despite all of the rhetoric from the British about re-establishing the Executive, their priority is placating the DUP.
“We’ve had a fairly tough meeting. We have put it to him very directly that the absolute priority is getting government working here in the North.
