One man, who was in his 40s, died in an incident close to Dublin Airport at 7pm on Sunday.
The second man, named by sources as Ciaran Kelly from Banagher in Co.
Offaly, died in an incident at nearby Belmont at around 6.45pm.
Mr Kelly, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene after the single-vehicle accident.
Gardai have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
A spokesman said: "Any road users who may have camera footage [including dash-cam] and were travelling in the area are asked to make this footage available to gardai.
Local Social Democrats Councillor Clare Claffey, who knew Mr Kelly, paid tribute to him last night.
She said: "He was always smiling. He was a lovely man.
"We were all shocked when we heard the news.
He came from a really nice family." Gardai at Ballymun station are investigating the 7pm crash.
Witnesses have been urged to call Ballymun Garda station on 01 666 4400, the Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any station.
