A HEARTBROKEN mother who hasn't seen her child for more than four years last night begged Simon Coveney: "Please let her come to Ireland."
Chamiporn Whitmarsh, 31, is an Irish citizen and has lived here since she was five.
Her late father was from Dundalk while her Thai mum is also an Irish citizen.
The Drogheda businesswoman owns a nail salon and also has an 11-year-old son Pleeti who was born in Thailand but is also an Irish citizen.
She gave birth to her daughter Meena Tamtiampai in Thailand in 2017 and returned home after 16 months.
Champion had to leave her baby behind with her aunt because she couldn't bring her to Ireland until she had an Irish passport.
