ROCKER Pete Doherty has claimed EastEnders bosses once offered him a starring role in the soap.
The Libertines frontman, 43, said he would much rather have been an actor than a musician, adding: "I love it."
Speaking of the BBC's alleged offer, he revealed: "There are a few things that have fallen through over the years that I was a bit disappointed about - opportunities that came up that I didn't take.
