Aid reveals Guineas ambitions

AIDAN O'BRIEN will follow his now traditional route to Newmarket with his leading Guineas contenders.

The Master of Ballydoyle confirmed yesterday both Auguste Rodin and Little Big Bear, both successful at Group 1 level as juveniles, will head straight to the first British classic of the season without a prep run.

And a similar approach will be taken with Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf heroine Meditate, the yard's main hope for the Qipco 1,000 Guineas.

Speaking at his annual press morning, O'Brien said: "Both colts will be trained for the Guineas and it'll be up to the lads (the Coolmore team) to decide, closer to the time, whether to split them or let them take one another on.
