A PENSIONER has been left stranded in his own home after vandals smashed every window in his car with a golf club.
Christy Gorman, 66, said he is living in fear after the terrifying attack which took place just yards from his front door in Longford town.
The incident, which happened in the early hours of last Wednesday morning, now means Christy has no form of transport to attend his local GP or collect his weekly State pension.
He added: “I have two new knees and a hip in and this is my only way of getting around.”
Christy is now worried he won’t have the money to repair his car if the insurance doesn’t cover the cost of the damage.
