Mosala to put foot down and outscore all his BMW rivals

THE Colm Quinn BMW Mile Handicap is the big race on day two. It’s a race Ado McGuinness has a fantastic record in and he has a large number of runners once again with eight.

Cowboy Justice is very interesting down the bottom for Jessica Harrington, with Shane Foley on board. He’s only a three-year-old and has to overcome a bad draw in stall 16, but my preference would be for Mosala for Henry de Bromhead and Wayne Lordan.

He’s drawn in stall eight and ran well the last day when third behind Jungle Cove at Leopardstown. I think a stiff mile, which Galway is, will play to his strengths. He’ll be ridden positively and I think this could be bang up Mosala’s street.

Paul Townend makes his first trip to this year’s Galway Races this evening after not riding at Monday’s meeting.
