Michael back on track after nightmare

HOLLYWOOD star Michael Fassbender has broken his silence after he crashed his Porsche at high speed into a barrier during qualifying for Le Mans 24 – saying his dream had turned into a nightmare.

The Kerry actor miraculously escaped uninjured after the rear brake disc of the 911 RSR car he was racing failed, causing him to spin out of control.

Michael was back in the driving seat 24 hours later but said: “The dream turned into a nightmare yesterday. It is a huge honour and a privilege to be here. It was unfortunate yesterday, but nice to get back on track today.
