The double All-Ireland winning star and current Galway boss has made it clear that players who want to join his squad for 2023 will have to show “a huge interest.”
This year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists are back in training again, with 2018 All-Star Ian Burke one of those currently on trial.
Some of the others include Moycullen midfielder Peter Cooke, “a great lad” and “a big addition” who Joyce would “take back with open arms”.
But Joyce says Cooke won’t be able to commute back and forward from the USA with his work commitments and be involved with the squad.
