THE GAA has been urged to act after a brawl marred Galway's All-Ireland quarter-final win over Armagh.

The fight saw players from both sides pummel each other yesterday at the end of normal time at Croke Park.

The game was decided in the Tribesmen's favour following a historic penalty shootout. The ugly scenes erupted as the players made their way to the tunnel ahead of extra-time, with footage appearing to show an eye-gouging of Galway's Damien Comer.
