A €5.8MILLION mansion formerly owned by TV star Ant McPartlin was ravaged by fire yesterday.
The blaze tore through the sevenbedroom home, which is rented out by Ant's ex-wife Lisa Armstrong for around €11,600 a month.
Lisa is said to have watched as six fire engines and around 49 firefighters battled the blaze, after receiving a call from former neighbours.
Residents said a pet cat, belonging to a family who are renting the property, died despite efforts from firefighters who tried to revive the animal with breathing apparatus.
