DISGRACED Donald Trump last night became the first former US President to be confirmed as a sex predator after his civil trial verdict.

Jurors ruled the 76-year-old did sexually assault and defame advice columnist E. Jean Carroll and awarded her €4.5million in compensation.

They rejected claims Trump raped her but found against him after he branded her allegations a "hoax".

The sex abuse verdict could have ramifications in his bid to rerun for President in next year's election.

Trump responded with predictable fury to the rulings he assaulted Carroll, 79, in the 90s. Within minutes of the announcement from New York's lower Manhattan courthouse he posted a tirade in capital letters on his social media platform Truth Social.

Claiming he did not even know Carroll, Trump wrote: "I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHO THIS OF WOMAN IS. THIS VERDICT IS A DISGRACE, A CONTINUATION THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!" The verdict was announced after just three hours of deliberations.
