The Bit O'Red have wrapped up a deal for Johan Brannefalk, who joins from Norrby IF having been at Ljungskile and Trelleborg before that.
Brannefalk was also a youth player at Swedish giants Malmo and Sligo Rovers boss John Russell said: "He's an attacking full back who will fit in perfectly.
"He possesses a great passing range and crossing ability and comes to us at a really good stage in his career.
