MORE than 50,000 homes could be completed by the end of next year if building continues at its current pace, it was claimed yesterday.
The Banking and Payments Federation Ireland said that could help meet the demand which is being driven by employment growth and rising incomes.
It’s estimated between around 30,000 and 35,000 housing units per year to need to be completed keep pace with demand and projected population increases.
