The latest rankings don't count results from the 2019-2020 season and reflect all series completed since May 2020. This means India's 0-2 loss to New Zealand in March 2020 is no longer considered. The rankings assess series completed before May 2022 at 50% and the subsequent series at 100%.
India, who were last at the No. 1 spot for a month in December 2021, gained two rating points to move from 119 to 121.
