CHRIS Packham says social media can be a force for good, despite being targeted by trolls every day.
The TV naturalist, 61, is bombarded by abusive messages, but is determined not to let them get him down.
He said: "I get trolled every day by various factions. I just have to overcome that.
"I've got to turn it to be more positive than negative, then you make progress." In spite of the constant abuse, Chris believes social media is vital for raising awareness of important issues.
He said: "There are enormous positive aspects to the social media side of things." Chris is calling on celebs to use their social media pages for good. He said: "There's enormous scope. We just need to find people who have a voice and have the bravery to speak out. But that's hard.
"There's so many great people with great voices who could be using them for the greater good and they're just not doing it."
He is back on TV with a new series, Inside Our Autistic Minds, on February 14 at 9pm on BBC Two.
