MILLIONAIRE Rishi Sunak was slammed last night for posing as a "man of the people" despite making the Sunday Times Rich List with his wife Akshata Murty.
The Chancellor and Ms Murty appear in the rankings this year for the first time, at number 222, with their joint £730million fortune.
The rich ranking comes as UK households face rampant inflation, which has struck a 40-year high of 9%.
Critics last night blasted Mr. Sunak, who has repeatedly claimed he's powerless to help hard-pressed Britons struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.
